OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM
The Revd Christopher Woodman (Pastor/Minister) : Christopher took up his appointment on July 7th 2012. Originally born and raised in the West Country, Chris has served as an electrician and also as SNCO Aircrew with the RAF in Scotland before finally answering 'the call' to the Baptist Ministry. He previously was the minister of The Lighthouse Church, Forres, situated on the Morayshire Coast of North East Scotland. He has trained at Moorlands Christian College, nr. Christchurch and Regent's Park College, Oxford.

Alan Vian (Deacon & Secretary): Alan, who formerly was a primary school head teacher in Northamptonshire, is currently our Church Secretary. As well as the formal duties as Church Treasurer, Alan is responsible for health and safety and the on-going care of the church buildings

Megan Woodman
(Deacon): Megan grew up in Scotland before moving with her family to Dorset in 2012. She trained at Moorlands Bible College studying Applied Theology. Now living back in Lyme Regis she works in the town. Megan is involved in leading Worship at LRBC as well as helping initiate the creation and development of the Driftwood. |
Prof Sir Ghillean Prance (Deacon): Former Director of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, until his retirement in 1999. Iain remains a prominent, actively involved, botanist and ecologist at an international level. He has a particular passion to promote 'Creation Care' among Christians often speaking at conferences and local churches.

DDuncan Wood (Deacon):
Duncan was a Biomedical Scientist in charge of a Haematology and Blood Transfusion Laboratory. He has previously served as Church Treasurer and Boys’ Brigade Captain in Harlow and as Church Secretary and Elder in Clacton-on-Sea. Duncan is currently serves us as Buildings & Grants Coordinator. |
Genny Legg (Deacon):
Genny grew up in Lyme leaving to train as a nurse in Yeovil. She and her husband Phil now back in Lyme have two grown up daughters and two grandchildren. |
